ECSAS2021: 7th CIRCULAR

The links to the virtual rooms of all panels, lectures and events will be sent out only to registered participants shortly before the conference and cannot be shared with others.
The online conference will be mainly organised via Zoom, using the secure licenses of Vienna University. We offer the possibility of a Virtual Testrun, for all those who have little experience with this tool, want to test their technical infrastructure (audio, microphone and camera) including sharing the screen and showing the presentation. We will send detailed instructions and handling guidelines beforehand.

Your can enter the Virtual Testrun on 21 July 2021 from 9:00 – 17:00 (CEST).**
The room will only be open on Wednesday, 21 July during the specified times. If you have problems opening the zoom link, please contact .
We encourage everybody to use the opportunity of a virtual testrun to guarantee a smooth conference process.

On-site participation: You can still register also for on-site participation in Vienna.

Currently the Covid-situation in Austria is relatively stable. Most cultural sites and museums are open, as well as restaurants, bars and coffee shops. However, please be aware that most places, including the ECSAS conference venue, currently require a valid certificate of

a) negative testing or b) vaccination or c) the recovery from Sars-Cov-2 no longer than six month ago.

In many places, there is also still a need for masks that cover nose and mouth e.g. in public transport.

In spite of a few cancellations, we still have a very promising, high quality programme of more than 40 panels, with 6 panels confirmed in a hybrid mode.
